TrailsVindelfjällen Nature Reserve offers a range of adventures and experiences! Nowadays it is most common for visitors to embark on short day-trips, or trips of 2-3 days. We are pleased to present a new system of hiking trails and bridges around Ammarnäs during summer 2005. The trail will be named the Lasseleden Trail after Lasse Strömgren from Ammarnäs, who took the iniative to establish the new trails. You can read other visitors’ accounts and suggestions in Vindelfjällen excursions. The Kungsleden Trail The Kungsleden Trail is a must for many visitors. The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) has been active in the area since the early 1900s, and run many mountain cabins. They will look after you if you visit their cabins. These cabins and their whereabouts are presented in Cabins in the reserve.
